시간을 담는 가장 단단한 형태.
19세기 셰이커 공동체의 간결한 구조에서 영감을 받아 제작한 황동 셰이커 박스입니다. 장식보다 쓰임을, 화려함보다 구조를 중시했던 그들의 태도를 앙스모멍의 방식으로 재해석했습니다.
본래 얇은 목재를 휘어 제작하던 전통적인 셰이커 박스의 구조를 견고한 황동의 물성으로 옮겼습니다. 절제된 곡선과 단단한 결합 방식은 시간이 지나도 형태가 흐트러지지 않도록 설계되었으며, 구조 자체가 곧 디자인이 되는 오브제입니다.
황동은 사용자의 손길과 공기에 반응하며 서서히 깊은 고색(Patina)을 띱니다. 표면의 변화는 손때와 시간의 흔적을 고스란히 담아내며, 각자의 환경 속에서 고유한 색으로 완성됩니다. 사용의 시간이 곧 표면이 되는 물성입니다.
아주 작은 사이즈로 제작되어, 작고 소중한 물건을 담기에 적합합니다.
반지 한 쌍, 작은 펜던트, 귀걸이, 혹은 개인적인 기록 한 장까지. 오래 간직하고 싶은 것들을 아름답게 보관하기 위한 케이스입니다.
숫자 ‘8’을 옆으로 눕히면 무한함을 의미하는 기호 ‘∞’가 됩니다. 이번 8주년을 기념해 총 88개 한정 제작되었으며, 각 제품에는 고유의 넘버링이 새겨집니다. 이는 단순한 수납함이 아니라, 시간을 기념하는 하나의 오브제임을 의미합니다.
